Detailed Itinerary – Sach Pass Motorbike Trip

Day 01: Delhi – Manali (Overnight Volvo Bus)

Travel distance & time: 560 km / approx. 12 hrs

Arrive at Delhi Volvo station at 04:00 PM and board the Volvo bus for Manali. Overnight journey in Volvo bus.

Day 02: Manali – Udaipur (100 km | 4 hrs)

Morning arrival in Manali and transfer to guest house for freshening up. Afternoon start riding towards the tribal regions of Himachal influenced by Hindu and Buddhist cultures. Ride through Marhi, cross the famous traffic jam zone, and enjoy breathtaking Himalayan views.

Continue through Chandra Valley, stop for a tea break at the checkpoint, and ride along the Chandra River. After Tandi, enter Ghar Valley and reach Udaipur. Visit Patan Valley attractions like Tandi (Guruhantal Monastery), Mrikukala Mata Temple, and Trilokinath Temple on your own.

Day 03: Udaipur – Killar (110 km | 5–6 hrs)

Ride through the narrow Chenab Valley towards Killar. This day offers an adventurous ride with sharp hairpin bends, narrow roads, deep gorges, and towering mountains, making it one of the most thrilling days of the trip.

Overnight: Guest House / Camp

Day 04: Exploration Day

Early morning ride towards the legendary “Death Valley Road of the Indian Himalayas” in the direction of Kishtwar. After exploration, ride back to the campsite.

Day 05: Killar – Tissa via Sach Pass (150 km | 7–8 hrs)

Cross the Chenab River and ride through steep, cliff-hugging roads up to Sach Pass (approx. 5000 m). Enjoy stunning Himalayan valley views before descending into the valley. Visit traditional villages en route and reach Tissa by afternoon.

Overnight: Guest House / Camp

Day 06: Tissa – Khajjiar (80 km | 3–4 hrs)

Ride through forested valley roads dotted with villages towards Khajjiar, famously known as “Mini Switzerland of India”. Explore the lush meadows, deodar forests, and visit the 12th-century Khajji Nag Temple.

Overnight: Hotel / Guest House

Day 07: Khajjiar – Dharamshala via Jot Pass (119 km | 5–7 hrs)

Early morning ride via winding roads to Jot Pass. Enjoy panoramic views of the Dhauladhar range and Chamba Valley. Descend through rhododendron and oak forests, passing picturesque villages before joining the highway to Dharamshala.

Overnight: Hotel / Guest House

Day 08: Dharamshala – Manali (220 km | 6–7 hrs)

A long but scenic ride through streams, dirt tracks, and bad roads leading back to the lush green Kullu Valley. Enjoy views of the Beas River and reach Manali. After freshening up, board the semi-sleeper Volvo bus for Delhi.

Day 09: Arrival in Delhi
