Scram 411 cc

The Royal Enfield Scram 411 is a crossover motorcycle derived from the Himalayan platform but tuned more toward everyday riding and urban‑friendly adventure style. It combines approachable ergonomics, lightweight handling, and a torquey 411 cc engine to make it suitable for city commuting, weekend touring, and mild off‑road use.

The Scram 411 is powered by a 411 cc, single‑cylinder, air‑cooled SOHC engine with electronic fuel injection. It produces about 24.3 bhp (≈24.3 PS) at 6500 rpm and 32 Nm of torque around 4250 rpm, giving smooth, usable power with good low and mid‑range pull — ideal for everyday riding and light touring. This engine is paired with a 5‑speed manual gearbox with a wet multi‑plate clutch and constant mesh design, providing predictable and easy shifting for varied riding conditions.

  • Seat Height: ~795 mm — accessible for a wide range of riders.
  • Ground Clearance: ~200 mm — good for urban obstacles and light trails.
  • Fuel Tank: ~15 litres — enough for moderate touring range.
  • Kerb Weight: ~185 kg — relatively light for its class.
  • Wheelbase: ~1455 mm — balanced for stability and maneuverability.

Key Features of Scram 411 cc

1. Engine & Performance

2. Chassis & Suspension

Built on a half‑duplex split cradle frame, the Scram 411 uses 41 mm telescopic front forks with about 190 mm travel and a rear monoshock with linkage and around 180 mm travel. This setup strikes a balance between comfort and control for both city roads and light off‑road terrain.

3. Brakes & Safety

Stopping power comes from a 300 mm front disc with a 2‑piston floating caliper and a 240 mm rear disc with a single‑piston caliper, backed by dual‑channel ABS for safer braking performance in both wet and dry conditions.

4. Wheels & Tyres

To complement its scrambler character, the Scram 411 rides on a 19‑inch front wheel and a 17‑inch rear wheel with dual‑purpose tyres. This wheel setup makes it more nimble and road‑oriented than a full adventure bike, while still capable on gravel or dirt tracks.
